This policy is the default policy in place. Each Hoot Book Revival user has the ability to post their own unique refund policy. Please refer to the Seller’s policy. If they do not have a policy in place, Hoot’s default policy is applicable.

If the Buyer has listed a “No Returns Policy” that means they do not want the item returned under any circumstances. In cases of complaints where the item received was “Not As Described”, the Seller may decline  a return, but not a refund. Photos and book condition rating add to the description. If a book is heavily used/damaged be sure and clearly state that in the description.

For other types of disputes, agreements for returns and refunds must be reached by the Buyer and the Seller.  Hoot Book Revival is not responsible for disputes between parties. If the Buyer would like to lodge a complaint about a Seller, they may do so by sending an e mail to [email protected] The Buyer may also give the Seller a rating reflecting their experience.

To return a product, the Buyer should mail it back to the Seller, if they desire it returned.

If a book is returned because it was” Not As Described”, the Seller will refund all original costs (book and shipping) plus the amount for return shipping.

For other types of disputes, the Buyer will be responsible for paying return shipping costs.  All shipping costs are non-refundable except for a “Not As Described” complaint. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
